Why aren’t most believers sharing the gospel? Why can’t we even get them to evangelism seminars? Why don’t most Churches even host evangelism seminars? What are the real hindrances? Is it really fear and a lack of equipping – or does it run deeper than that?
How do you relate the gospel to a person in a ‘post-Christian’ culture like ours? How do you raise interest in the gospel when people aren’t interested? How can you communicate truth to people who don’t believe that a thing such as ‘truth’ exist?
How could you create a genuine culture of evangelism in a Church (or small group), so you don’t have to keep running from program to program, with very little increase in passion for the gospel, and communication of it, coming as a result? How do you make that culture sustainable, and make doing all of this achievable for practically any pastor or small group leader – and especially when they are not an extrovert, and are not gifted in evangelism? And could this be done for an entire denomination? What would it take – and what might happen?
These are likely the most important questions in our nation today – because from the light of eternity nothing will matter as much as the clear communication of this gospel message – and we’re not doing very well at communicating it! …but this could be changed!
